Starfish Social Services is the main provider for MSD’s Youth Services in the Matamata-Piako district.

We support young people aged 16-18 Not In Education Employment or Training (NEET) or who are receiving Work and Income Youth Payment (YP) or Young Parent Payment (YPP) in the age of 16-20.

Our job is to mentor the young person in good decision making by working together to create individual goal plans, connecting them with education and training opportunities and facilitating budgeting, parenting and work readiness workshops.
